Want To Volunteer?

Do you have a passion to serve the Lord through the little children? We would love you to help build our kids up, but first, we ask that potential volunteers fill out our Safe Sanctuary packet.

Safe Sanctuary policies were adopted within the United Methodist Church beginning in April 1996, aimed at reducing the risk of child abuse in our churches. Child abuse prevention and risk reduction policies and procedures are essential for our Christ United Methodist Church congregation, not only for the protection and safety of our children, but also for our volunteers and staff who work with children and students under 18 years old.

If you would like to volunteer in the children’s ministry, please fill out a Safe Sanctuary Packet and return it to the Children’s Ministry Lockbox. Volunteers are always needed, so please get on our approved volunteer list. Thank you for your commitment to our children, students and families, and help all of us provide a safe sanctuary here at Christ United Methodist Church.

In all of our ministries with children, youth, and adults, we are committed to demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ so that each person will be “...surrounded by steadfast love, ...established in the faith, and confirmed and strengthened in the way that leads to life eternal” (“Baptismal Covenant II,” United Methodist Hymnal, p. 44).
